So, I took the plunge and finally started my first quilt. I’ve made great progress on it so far and hoping to complete it by March so I can use it a little before summer. I’ve always thought that it would be terribly difficult but it’s been so easy and fun! I found a wonderful tutorial through the purlbee blog (great resource for tons of crafty projects by the way). Now, I’m completely obsessed! Daydreaming of new patterns and colors all the time.
It’s been a jam packed January, full of family gatherings, yummy home cooked meals, and birthday celebrations.

I was in the same room with Damon Albarn, Paul Simonon and Mick Jones!!! Okay it was a very very very large room called the Target Center but still. So much fun! The space was weird. It’s been over a decade since I’ve been to a show in a space that large. Luckily, the location did not take away from the awesome.
